Sarah Littlejohn has done some rebranding to showcase her new skills: barefoot massage and yoga. The new name is Prana Pada, with Prana meaning life force energy and Pada meaning foot. Last Summer, Sarah attended a 200 Hour Yoga Psychology Teacher training with Dr. Nick Atlas. As a result, she will continue yoga and meditation classes here at TerraMar (outside for social distance). On top of recent training, in November of 2018, she started my training with The Center for Barefoot Massage. It has changed so much of what she does. She can now provide comfortable deep tissue massage that is both effective and soothing! Even though Sarah has attended such trainings, she is still offering hands on massage and cupping.
Sarah is the only massage therapist in the West Georgia area providing the amazing therapy of barefoot massage. She strongly believes that our bodies are equipped with amazing self-healing capabilities and loves to empower people to get in touch with their own wellness potential through the science and art of massage, bodywork, and self-care coaching In order to live a higher quality life, maintaining optimal wellness is key. Everything we feel and do relates to our well-being and directly affects our actions and emotions. In order to subdue stress, reduce illness, and ensure positive moments in your life, you must achieve optimal wellness.
Certified ACE Medicupping Practitioner Sarah uses glass and plastic cups with a vacuum machine to create suction on the body surface. These cups are moved over the skin using gliding, shaking, popping and rotating techniques while gently pulling up on the cup to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release.
Ashiatsu Therapy, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it.
