Yoga, Meditation, & More
Sound baths are an ancient modality used to bring the nervous system to a calm and meditative state. This allows energetic flow and attunes the mind, body, and spirit for love and well-being.
Maya Rae believes that returning to the body is the impetus for revolution and invites you to step onto your mat and into your power. She received her certification in 2016 at Rubber Soul in Athens, GA. During this eclectic training, she learned asana, pranayama, and body alignment principles, in addition to "street yoga" in the form of unicycling, juggling, and interpretive performance arts.
Maya Rae loves mindful movement and offers classes for all skill levels in various styles, including hatha, vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, and yin yoga. Her personal practice has taken a deep dive into the science and art of kundalini yoga, and she incorporates aspects of its medicine throughout her class offerings. Her classes aim to cultivate a safe and playful space where you can explore boundaries within your own body, encourage a sense of self efficacy, and nurture a relationship with who you truly are.
Spring is here and now is a natural time for our bodies to engage in the cleansing of stagnant energy in order to make room for new growth. In this 2-part class series, Maya Rae will guide movement and breathwork through the practice of kundalini yoga, the science of vitality & prosperity, in sequences designed to disrupt the momentum of past habits, circulate stagnant energy and life force (prana), and detoxify the glandular system of the body.
