Sarah Littlejohn is a barefoot massage therapist, cupping practitioner, and yoga teacher. Sarah is also a comedy nerd and lover of music. When Sarah isn’t teaching yoga or seeing massage clients, she is at home with her husband Bob and two unique and hilarious children Michael and Amelia, her dogs Bilbo, Moxie, and Zelda, and their cat Barney. She's been proud to call Carrollton home since 2011.
Sarah Littlejohn is a kind and compassionate massage therapist and yoga teacher who wants to encourage self love for everyone. She believes that massage bodywork is essential for a happy body and mind. She also believes in the power of the parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system. When the body is calm, it can more easily heal and remain healthy. Therapeutic/deep tissue work can be achieved in her massage room in a more comfortable way. Sarah specializes in Medicupping and barefoot massage. Both of those modalities approach tissue in a way that is more soothing to the nervous system. Massage should never be very painful. A massage with Sarah is a mindful meditation experience. Her yoga studio is an inclusive space for all bodies, shapes, sizes and abilities. Certified ACE Medicupping Practitioner Sarah uses glass and plastic cups with a vacuum machine to create suction on the body surface. These cups are moved over the skin using gliding, shaking, popping and rotating techniques while gently pulling up on the cup to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release.
Myofascial barefoot massage is a technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it.
